We are delighted to announce that Ryan Peacock has joined the team at Aventido as Relationship Manager, a new position that builds on Ryan's prior experience and demonstrates Aventido’s commitment to continued growth within the business and industry.
Ryan has worked in the Assistive Technology sector for 10 years, during which time he has supported students who experience a range of neurodiverse conditions including special learning difficulties, autism, and visual impairments.
Prior to working in the DSA, Ryan was a systems analyst and a trainer for a large European logistics company, during which time he travelled Europe, learning new technologies and implementing them into new or existing transport networks.
We sat down with Ryan to get his thoughts on Assistive Technology and the wider industry, and what he is looking forward to most about working with the team at Aventido.
Why are you passionate about Assistive Technology?
There are many reasons why I am passionate about Assistive Technology. Firstly, it removes the barriers caused by learning differences and promotes inclusion and accessibility. Furthermore, Assistive Technology gives neurodiverse individuals an opportunity to be on a level playing field with their peers. Additionally, it promotes independence for everyone at home, in an educational setting, and in the workplace.
