Announcing ‘AT Together’ For DSA and Higher Education Assistive Technology Practitioners

Aventido is excited to announce a series of free, face-to-face meetings that seek to update DSA and Higher Education practitioners on the latest assistive technology developments and application strategies.

AT Together

Since 2020 the educational ‘landscape’ has shifted due to the increasing pressures of delivering education in flexible ways and students have had to respond accordingly.

Now more than at any other time, the needs of the student with specific learning difficulties require more personalised intervention and support. Currently, the Disabled Students’ Allowance scheme is undergoing change and it is important for needs assessors to be aware of the latest assistive technology available as well as know what is currently taking place as the DSA develops.

AT Together is three face-to-face meetings taking place in Bristol, Birmingham, and Manchester that will combine updates about the latest assistive technologies along with an update on the progress of the DSA tender that is currently taking place.

Taking place on the 26th April, 27th April, and 28th April, AT Together, is a useful networking opportunity to share good practise and learn together.

Technology providers present will be Pro-Study, LighKey, FindMyFlow, TextAid, Oribi, Olympus, and OrCam providing demonstrations and the latest information about how their technology can support the learning of students with SpLDs.
